Susie Basham is a dynamic realtor with over 3 million dollars in sales since she began her career in 2017. After a long career of event coordinating and fundraising for a large nonprofit, she is now using her passion for helping others. Born and raised in Kentucky, Susie attended Eastern Kentucky University where she received a degree in Communications. There she met her husband, Kenny, and after graduation they returned to her hometown of Lexington. They now have two adult, married children and three grandchildren who also live in Central Kentucky.
Susie’s community involvement and networking expertise make her uniquely qualified in the marketing of your home. She has served with many organizations including: Women Leading Kentucky (current board member), Junior Achievement (Co-Chair Miss Business Conference), Bluegrass Council of the Blind (current volunteer), Hope’s Embrace (current volunteer), PLD Band Parent Association (past president) and Glean Ky (founding Board member).
Helping people find the best home to fit their needs and budget is a calling and passion for Susie. She loves to work with first time home buyers, seniors and everyone in between to navigate the often-confusing world of real estate. Susie has achieved certification as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). It is the only designation from the National Association of Realtor that specializes in helping seniors move from their current home to a home that will meet their needs in their later years.
